Uploaded Content: When you upload documents (PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint slides), we process them only to generate your exam questions. We do not keep your uploaded files. They are automatically deleted from our servers immediately after processing. We never store, review, or share your lecture notes, slides, or course materials.

Generated Exams: The exams you create are stored in your account so you can access them later. You can delete your exams at any time.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve our service, including pages visited and features used.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

- Provide, maintain, and improve our exam generation service
- Process your uploaded materials and generate exam questions
- Store your exams for future access
- Send important service updates and notifications

Data Storage and Security

We use Google Firebase for data storage and authentication. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

Uploaded documents are processed using Google's Gemini AI service. This processing is subject to Google's AI terms of service and privacy practices.

Data Retention

- Uploaded files (lecture notes, slides, PDFs): Deleted immediately after processing — we do not retain your course materials
- Generated exams: Retained until you delete them or close your account
- Account data: Retained until you request deletion

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

- Google Firebase: Authentication, database, and file storage
- Google Gemini: AI-powered question generation
- Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing for subscriptions

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.
