Frequently asked questions
Which exam board is this for?
The topics follow the content AQA, Edexcel and OCR share: markets and market failure, the national and international economy, business behaviour and the labour market, development and the financial sector. The free papers use AQA and Edexcel question styles (data response with extracts, 25-mark essays, multiple choice); name your board in the instructions when you generate a paper.
Are the free A-Level Economics papers free?
Yes. All three can be read online and downloaded as print-ready PDFs with no account, and the mark-scheme answer key is emailed when you ask for it on the exam page. Making a new paper from your own notes uses the generator, which has a free plan.
Do the essay answers include a mark scheme?
Yes. Each 25-mark essay has indicative content and level guidance in the style of a mark scheme: the knowledge, application, analysis and evaluation an examiner looks for, with chains of reasoning and a justified judgement.
Can I practise one topic only?
Yes. Each topic page lists the matching sample questions, and the generator writes a paper on one theme area when you tick it in "Pick your exam" with the A-Level Economics style, or upload your notes for it.
