Frequently asked questions
Are these AP Microeconomics practice tests free?
Yes. Both free AP Micro exams can be read online and downloaded as print-ready PDFs with no account, and the worked answer key is emailed when you ask for it on the exam page. Making a new test from your own notes uses the generator, which has a free plan.
Do the free-response questions use the AP graphing conventions?
Yes. The free-response set asks for correctly labeled graphs (axes, curves, equilibrium points) and the answer key describes each label and shift that earns a point, the way AP scoring guidelines do.
Which units have sample questions?
All six, with most in unit 2 (supply and demand), unit 3 (production, cost and perfect competition) and unit 4 (imperfect competition). Each unit page says how many questions it has; where a unit has few, the key-terms list and the generator cover the rest.
Can I make a test on one unit only?
Yes. Open the generator with the AP Microeconomics style, tick the unit in "Pick your exam" and the questions are written from that unit's outline; or upload your class notes for it.
