IB Maths AI practice exams by topic
IB Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation practice questions sorted by the five syllabus topics. Each topic page has free sample questions with markscheme-style solutions where our free AI SL exam covers it (technology permitted: financial maths, Voronoi diagrams, chi-squared tests, the trapezoidal rule), a key-terms list with the formulas typeset, and a door to make an AI-style test on that topic from your own notes. The exam PDF needs no signup; the answer key is emailed on request.

Frequently asked questions
How is IB Maths AI different from AA?
AI is the applications route: every paper allows a graphic display calculator, and the content leans to modelling, statistics (chi-squared and t-tests, regression) and geometry such as Voronoi diagrams. AA is the analysis route with a non-calculator Paper 1 and more algebra and calculus. The topic names match but the questions do not.
Is the free exam SL or HL?
SL. HL AI adds matrices, graph theory, further statistics and differential equations; those extras are marked HL in the key-terms lists. Upload HL notes or state HL in the instructions to generate at that level.
Can I practise with my calculator?
Yes, and you should: the free exam and generated AI papers are written on the assumption that a GDC is available, so answers are given to three significant figures unless the question says otherwise. The solutions show the method and the values to enter, not just the output.
